Vincent Busnel (known as Enzo)
Role: All-round technician
Born on 17 August 1982
Lives in La Trinité-sur-Mer
His gesture for the environment: not throwing cigarette butts onto the ground.
In the offshore racing domain, no one calls him Vincent. Instead, he goes by the name of Enzo, a nickname that stems from the film Le Grand Bleu, which harks back to the time when he frequently dived to clean boats’ hulls below the waterline. After training as a fisherman in Saint Malo with a certain Loïc Escoffier, Enzo turned his attention to preparing competition yachts. He worked for several years with Yann Eliès on the Figaro and IMOCA circuits. To date, he’s the only boat maintenance worker to have supported three Solitaire du Figaro champions (victories by Yann Eliès in 2012, 2013 and 2015).
