Carolijn Brouwer is one of the most accomplished and pioneering sailors of her generation. A three-time Olympian and multiple world champion, she made history in 2018 as one of the first women to win the Volvo Ocean Race with Dongfeng Race Team. Recognized twice as World Sailor of the Year (1998 and 2018), Carolijn has excelled across multiple disciplines—from high-performance multihulls like the Tornado and foiling A-Class catamarans to offshore racing. Her mastery of speed, balance, and tactical precision in some of the sport’s most demanding classes highlights her exceptional versatility.
